FAQ:
How long is each session?
Each booking is a 5-minute session. From experience, this is plenty of time to get everyone positioned (hoomans first, then pets) and capture the perfect shot. Most animals don’t last much longer than this, so we work efficiently and won’t let you leave until we’ve got the best image possible. Please arrive 5 minutes early so we stay on schedule.
Can we bring more than one pet?
Yes! Multiple pets are welcome in one session as long as they are familiar with each other and able to be close to each other without stress. Please include details in your booking so we can be ready.
Are all pets welcome or just dogs?
All well-behaved pets are welcome – cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, you name it. Please let us know the details on your booking form. (We just ask that non-dog pets be secured in carriers or on leads until your turn.)
What should we wear?
Festive outfits are encouraged for both humans and pets! A few days before the event we’ll announce the colour theme on our socials so your family can dress to match for the perfect photo. We’ll also have a selection of Christmas props and headwear on hand for pets and hoomans — including extra-small pieces for teeny-tiny puppy heads.
What do I get for the booking fee?
We’ve kept it simple this year: book one session and we’ll get the perfect shot for you. If you’d like to mix it up and take a few different versions, just make a note of this in your booking form when you book. These will be edited and emailed to you by Monday 24th November. From experience we've concluded printing is not prefered and have been left with prints that never get picked up. You can print at officeworks at any size you'd like once you have the digital image.
Is there parking on site?
Yes – there is plenty of parking. However, we kindly ask that you park on the road to prevent any challenges with the coming and going of each booking group.
What if we’re running late?
We’re aware that last year we did run behind at times and we know that delay was frustrating for everyone (including us!). This year we’ve put everything in place to avoid this happening: we’ll be streamlining entry and exit through separate doors and have different holding areas for you and your animals.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment so we can check you off and get you ready for your session. If you’re running late, please call or text us immediately (mbl: 0493 061 154) we’ll do our best to fit you in, but sessions are back-to-back and late arrivals may forfeit their slot.
