Puppy & Dog Training

FOR ALL PUPS AND THEIR OWNERS

Our Diesel & Blue Puppy Training Classes are run by Pam Davis, a local dog trainer who's a highly experienced behaviour modification professional in dogs of all shapes and sizes.

We have two types of classes:

  1. Puppy Class for 8 weeks – 6 months, a class to help both you and your puppy learn the basics of owning a puppy and being a puppy

  2. Café Dog Class for 6 months and older, this class is designed to build on the puppy class to help you and your dog to be accepted anywhere with good manners.

Puppy Classes

These classes are for puppies aged 8 weeks to 6 months

The classes are run in blocks of 4 x 1 hour classes on weekend mornings.  Each class will expand on the previous class's knowledge so that when you and your puppy graduate you're armed with the skills to continue to develop your pup into a polite and well behaved family member for life.
What's included:

  • 4 x 1 hr classes

  • Training mat supplied for class

  • Extensive training manual

  • Graduation certificate/photo

  • High-quality graduation goodie pack

 

CLASSES 2024

May Classes:

When: Sunday 5th May

            Sunday 12th, 19th and 26th of May

8.30am - 9.30am​

June Classes:

To Be Confirmed​

Where: At Diesel & Blue Doggie Daycare, 5 Edward Street, Orange.
Cost: $250 for the course of 4x classes. A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining 50% is due on the day of the first class. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will forfeit deposit.
Class Size: There is a maximum of 6 clients to allow for individual attention.

Café Dog Classes

These classes are for fur-children 6 months or older

The classes are designed to build on your puppy class skills to help you and your dog be able to participate in our busy social lives in a happy and confident way.  Including hands on, tailored help based on your pups needs discussed with our trainer.
What's included:

  • 4 x 1 hour classes

  • A training facility that allows for various exercises and stimuli

  • Some of the skills you and your fur-child will be perfecting are:
    -  Short leash tie-up
    -  Sitting with distraction
    -  Lying with distraction
    -  Door etiquette
    -  Polite meet and greet
    -  Stay with distraction/distance
    -  Recall with distraction/distance
    -  Walking calmly on lead
    -  Equipment awareness - harness, lead, muzzle
    -  Crate training

  • Graduation certificate

  • Graduation report

  • High-quality graduation goodie pack

Classes are scheduled on demand. Please email or call to join our waiting list.

​ABOUT PAM DAVIS

Pam has been running her dog business for 12 years in Orange, has her Cert. IV in Companion Animal Services from the International Dog Academy and continues her education with conferences from Prof. Pet Guild and Aust. Pet Dog Training.
