Diesel & Blue Dog Retreat provides a safe, comfortable and caring home away from home for your dog.​
Our boarding guests enjoy individual accommodation, daycare, plenty of love and attention and a calm, enriching environment where every dog is treated like one of our own. Whether they're staying for one night or a longer visit, our trained, experienced team is dedicated to making every stay safe, comfortable and enjoyable.
Before your dog's stay
If your dog is new to Diesel & Blue, there are a few simple steps to complete before they can attend daycare or enjoy an overnight stay at our retreat.

Peak Season Retreat Stay: $95 per 24 hours. Private Retreat: $109 per 24 hours.
Peak pricing applies during selected NSW school holidays, Easter, Christmas/New Year and nominated high-demand periods.

Every great retreat starts with a First Day.
Before enjoying any Diesel & Blue service, every new guest spends a day with us so we can get to know them, understand their personality and help them settle confidently into our environment.
Your First Day includes:

• Behaviour and temperament assessment
• Enrolment into Diesel & Blue
• Personalised guest profile
• Suitability assessment for all Diesel & Blue services

What to expect during your dog's stay
From meals and medication to monitoring and emergency care, here's everything you need to know before your dog stays with us.
BEFORE YOUR DOG STAYS
Once your booking is confirmed, we'll ask you to complete a pre-boarding survey so we can learn more about your dog's feeding requirements, general health, medication, sleeping habits, personality and emergency contact details. This helps us provide the safest and most personalised care possible.

ACCOMMODATION
Our purpose-built guest suites have been designed with your dog's comfort and wellbeing in mind.

All new D & B dogs must complete a 'first day' before their overnight stay. This allows them to become familiar with the environment before enjoying a calm and relaxed evening with us.

TAXI SERVICE
We offer a taxi service to and from your home for all daycare and boarding guests. You can book this when you make your booking.
MEALS & MEDICATION

Meals are provided during your dog's stay. If your dog has specific dietary requirements or prefers their usual food, you're welcome to provide meals from home. We recommend this if staying for only one night as their tummy's will prefer the consistency. Please individually portion your dogs food for each meal before arrival.

We are also happy to administer routine medications at no additional charge. Simply ensure all medications are clearly labelled and their medication schedule is outlined in their pre-boarding survey.

WHAT TO BRING

Any required medications packaged into envelopes for each day with instructions on the front.

Prescription or specialised food (if applicable) portioned out for each meal.

Bedding or a favourite comfort item if you'd like your dog to have a little piece of home with them.​

VACCINATIONS
Your dog must be vaccinated to a C5 level. As a minimum this includes canine parvovirus, distemper, adenovirus and must have an annual bordetella bronchiseptica (Kennel Cough). Read our blog article about vaccinations here

EMERGENCY CARE
Your dog's health and wellbeing are our highest priority.
In the unlikely event that your dog requires veterinary treatment during their stay, we will make every effort to contact you first. If immediate medical attention is required, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care on your behalf to ensure your dog receives prompt treatment.
Any veterinary costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.

MONITORING & SECURITY
Our boarding facility is monitored with CCTV cameras and supported by an overnight monitoring system, allowing our team to respond quickly should a dog need attention. Combined with regular wellbeing checks, this provides an additional layer of care and peace of mind.​
